Standard Home Water Treatment System
The Standard Home Water Treatment System is a three-stage, whole-house filtration system designed to provide cleaner, clearer, better-tasting water throughout your home. This Trio 4.5" × 20" system combines sediment and scale protection, high-flow carbon filtration, and advanced biological protection for a balanced approach to treating municipal or well water.
Three Stages of Whole-House Treatment
ScaleArmor Guard™
The first sump contains the ScaleArmor Guard, a 5-micron prefilter that captures sediment and suspended particles while helping prevent hardness minerals from forming damaging scale. This stage helps protect your plumbing, water heater, appliances, fixtures, and the remaining filters in the system.
High-Flow Carbon Block
The second sump uses a high-flow carbon block to reduce chlorine, unpleasant tastes and odors, volatile organic compounds, and other chemical contaminants. Its high-flow design provides effective carbon filtration while helping maintain strong water pressure throughout the home.
NanoPak Biological™
The third sump contains the NanoPak Biological filter, which uses advanced electropositive filtration technology to attract and capture extremely small biological contaminants. It provides up to 99.9999% bacteria reduction, 99.99% virus reduction, and 99.9% cyst reduction while also helping reduce lead and other harmful contaminants.
Reliable Protection from Every Faucet
Each stage prepares the water for the next, creating an effective treatment process that helps reduce sediment, scale, chlorine, chemical contaminants, unpleasant tastes and odors, bacteria, viruses, and cysts before the water reaches your faucets.
The Standard Home Water Treatment System operates without salt or wastewater discharge, making it an effective and environmentally responsible solution for improving water quality throughout your entire home.
The NanoPak Biological filter should be replaced annually or as needed, depending on the home’s water quality, contaminant levels, and water usage.
Treatment performance and maintenance requirements depend on incoming water quality, contaminant levels, household usage, and flow rate. Water testing is recommended to confirm the appropriate treatment system for your home.
